Samia Young - President 

Samia is a passionate litigator, motivational speaker, and barrier breaker. A first generation college student from the South Side of Chicago, she is no stranger to hard work and embodies resilience, grit, and determination. 

​

Samia currently litigates across a variety of practice areas at Fox Rothschild. Before that, she was a business litigation associate at a national law firm. Samia graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2020 with honors. While earning her law degree, Samia was a judicial extern to the Honorable Michael J. Davis and the Honorable Patrick J. Schiltz of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Sinloria Macrae -

Vice President 

Sinloria is an enthusiastic and dedicated labor and employment attorney at Littler Mendelson. She earned her J.D in May 2020 from the University of St. Thomas School of Law, where she was a research assistant to former Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan Page, President of the Black Law Student Association, and Senior Editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy. Sinloria was also elected to be the graduation class speaker where she spoke alongside Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Anne Mckeig.

 

Before law school, Sinloria earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and English from the College of St. Benedict.

Tori Kee - Treasurer

Tori is a 2020 graduate of the University of St. Thomas School of Law and holds a B.S. in Communication Studies from St. Catherine University. Tori is currently a Staff Attorney at the Interprofessional Center for Counseling and Legal Services at UST, where she served as the Archbishop Ireland Justice Fellow for the Community Justice Project clinic from 2020-2021.

 

During her time as a legal fellow at UST she co-supervised law student practitioner’s public policy advocacy projects in partnership with community-based partner organizations. Tori is passionate about connecting with people and serving the common good.

Emily graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in 2020. During law school, Emily clerked for Polaris and HAWS-KM. She went on to become a civil litigator at HAWS-KM where she did a variety of civil litigation including insurance defense, toxic torts, and business litigation. Emily is now corporate counsel at Land O’Lakes where she provides legal support for seed, agtech, and sustainability.
